Rivers State Launch Their Monorail

Rivers State Launch Their Monorail: No Track To Run The Train.

The Rivers state governor, Chibuike Amaechi, yesterday test run the state's N150 billion 3 Kilometers Monorail project.
The 3-year project which started in 2010 has less than 30% of
its track completed.

According to the project's completion projection, Phase A supposed to be completed before January 2014, while Phase B which will run from the city centre and terminates at Water Lines is to be completed in 2015. Regrettably, Phase A is still work-in-progress and might not be completed even in 2016.

Yesterday, it was like an exhibition event rather than test running, as there was no rail track to run the coach.

This is how not to spend taxpayers money.
